I was referred to Dr. Losee as my dentist 10 years ago. I had a great experience from that very first visit. Everyone that works with Dr. Losee is exceptional! I have always been taken care of and never had to wait. I LOVE the reminders and efficiency that I receive. I am always greeted by name when I walk in. I moved away for a few years and that is when I noticed even more how lucky I was to have Thanksgiving Point Dental! I just brought my son in for his first dental visit. He is 3 and hates to brush his teeth and did not want to go. As I expected, the staff just made him feel so special He LOVED it and asked me if he could go back! I live in Orem and I am sure I pass hundreds of dentist offices on my way to Thanksgiving Point Dental but I will never change my dentist. :) ~ Vanice J

They staff is always so kind and try so hard to accommodate whatever you need. They have TVs to watch if you want. I needed some major work done and when they broke the news to me, I just sobbed because of the anxiety and the bad experiences I have had at other places. I’m sure it was insanely awkward for Dr. Valgardson but he pat me on the back and consoled me and all of my work went really easy and well and they did everything they could to make it comfortable for me. De. Valgardson had surgery on his hand and couldn’t perform my tooth extraction but he still came in on the day I was due and checked on me and made sure I was ok. Above and beyond team. Best experience I’ve had with something I didn’t want to happen. Recommend them to everyone. ~ Athena N

I love these guys. All of them are great. They are all super nice and very professional. I have thought of moving to a different dentist closer to my home several times but i just cant do it. The only warning I will give to all is once you go in, it will be hard to find a different dentist and group of staff that would treat you as well as they do. I also love they are upfront with all the procedures and will give you all possible options. They never pushed me to do the most expensive procedure unlike the other dentist i had in the past. They have explained all possible risk when i decided not to choose what their best recommendation and respected my decision. No pressure. I always walk out of there feeling great even in the times when my whole mouth so numb ~ Junell H

I just had another exceptional experience at Thanksgiving Point Dental a few days ago. My family has been patients of Drs. Losee and Valgardson for many years. We have had everything from cleanings, fillings, implants, crowns, Invisalign and even some minor periodontal surgery. Every time we are in their office, we are cared for and made to feel like we are their most important patient. Any time you need any type of treatment, they thoroughly go over all of your options and costs so that you can make a decision that is best for you. They stand behind all of their work and even warranty it. The entire staff is wonderful and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dentists that make the whole dental experience painless and even enjoyable! Thanks again :) ~ Heidi T

I went in for a cleaning today... they actually called me and asked if I was available as they had openings. Over the years of going to a "hygienist", it has always been frustrating and uncomfortable. The last time I went to Thanksgiving Point Dental they did a great job. Well... This time... Even BETTER! A HUGE shoutout to Ali and her fantastic work on getting the job done. I would have to say it was by far the BEST experience I have had for a cleaning. I would HIGHLY recommend Ali. In fact... rescheduled to make sure she was available. Keep singing Ali! Oh.. did I mention they don't have enough stars to rate it, it was that great of a service. I am very picky too. I have been coming to Dr. Valgardson at Thanksgiving Point Dental for many years. I have always received excellent care. Dr. Valgardson is one of the most knowledgeable, meticulous and fastidious dentists practicing today. Because of his extensive examinations he has identified issues and taken steps to help resolve problems with my teeth well in advance of pain or discomfort set in or extensive procedures are needed. Whenever I have questions or concerns he thoroughly explains and goes over my examinations in order to provide answers and possible next steps. I fully trust I am in good hands and I am so grateful to have found Thanksgiving Point Dental. The other dentists and the wonderful staff are always so friendly and professional. I have serious trauma from dentists but felt totally comfortable with them. I just moved to the area and after skipping cleanings for about 3 years I was so afraid for my visit. My worst fear is having dentists overprescribe and interpret X-rays as showing cavities when fillings aren’t actually needed. The staff was very understanding of my traumas, they explained anything they saw clearly, and I felt no pressure to get unnecessary work done. They commented that my silver fillings might become loose in the future but said, “If it aight broke, don’t fix it.” I’ve had dentists in the past pressure me into preventative work that only caused more issues and I felt none of that pressure today. I think they’ve earned a new repeat customer. Also the tv on the ceiling was a fun surprise. ~ Jacob H

This dentist office is by far one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to! My family absolutely enjoys going to this office because of how great we are treated! They treat us like family not just patients! All of the dentists that work there are wonderful they are friendly, honest, caring and thoughtful! I have never had any issues with any of the staff in fact from the time we step foot in the doors to the time we leave we are treated so great! The front desk ladies are so kind and always are happy to help us out, the assistants are all always cheerful and seem to love there jobs, and the hygienists are always so kind and caring when cleaning our teeth! I definitely recommend this dental office to all my friends and family and I’m glad I finally found the dental office my entire family loves going to! ~ Angie M

I don't usually write reviews, but considering that I've called to tell literally my whole family how great my experience was at Thanksgiving point dental, I might as well tell the rest of the world. Not only are they super friendly but I swear they have all latest technology in dentistry. They explains everything to me so well and I had to come back for 2 filling and it was the best dentist experience I've had! I didn't know it could be so painless and comfortable! They gave me the option for nitrous and they had a TV on the ceiling with Bluetooth headphones so I was just chilling and watching a show for a bit while they worked on my teeth. I feel like they did a great job on my teeth too! Definitely would (and have) recommend this place! ~ Lisa W

I recently had to have an old filling replaced with a crown. Dr. Larson was my dentist for the procedure, and Jennifer and Bailey assisted. It sounds strange to say I enjoyed my trip to the dentist, but Dr. Larson and team went above and beyond to make my experience painless and enjoyable. Everyone was personable, kind and courteous, and they made my comfort a priority. The procedure couldn't have gone any better, and my recovery was quick and painless. The truth is I've never had an unpleasant visit to Thanksgiving Point Dental. My family and I have been going there for years, and we love Drs. Losee, Valgardson, and now Larson, and the staff - they're all great to work with and they really care about their patients. ~ Kevin M

Our family has gone to Thanksgiving Point Dental for nearly 13 years, and we've had our fair share of dental problems. Several times I have had to call after hours because of emergencies or prescriptions needed. Both Drs. Losee and Valgardsen have been polite, professional, and precise. They also have been kind and caring for each member of our family. And their staff, from receptionists to hygienists are phenomenal! No matter how busy they are, they always take time to smile and chat. The whole office is comfortable and beautiful, while still having toys for the kids, and movies and T.V. for the rest of us.:) No one likes having to go to the dentist, but since it seems to be one of the necessities of life, you might as well go to a determined, kind, and talented dental office! As always - a completely wonderful experience. Many people dislike the dentist and going to dental appointments. If they do - they need to try Thanksgiving Point Dental. The staff is magnificent; warm, friendly, efficient, and a delight to be around. And the Doctors are not only excellent at what they do - they go out of their way to insure your experience is the best it can be. I once argued with a friend over who had the best dentist - I told her that my dentist calls me the evening after work is done to make sure I'm not in any discomfort - she argued that hers also calls her after working on her. Turned out we were arguing about the same dentist at Thanksgiving Point Dental. So yeah - we both had a great dentist. Easily 5 stars!!!! ~ 68 N

Have done both necessary and cosmetic dental work with Dr. Valgardson over the last several years, all of which have been excellent and top-notch. Would recommend anyone for either type of service. The cosmetic work is thought out very carefully with each step, nothing rushed, with great attention to detail. I was asked at each step if I was happy and felt good moving forward to the next step. They work with an amazing dental lab, as well. The staff all around is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. With my father having been a dentist, I’ve had a chance to see the dental world extensively, and can recommend Dr. Valgardson without reservation. One other important point: in the past, I’ve been to dentists where I feel that they gently (or more aggressively) push services. This has not been the case at all with Dr. Valgardson. ~ Joseph F

When I first met my husband he had recently had some dental work done. I told him I was sorry he had to go through that because I hated going to the dentist. His response surprised me when he said that he doesn't mind going to the dentist at all. I chalked it up to a weird quark that he had because everyone hates the dentist, right? After we had been dating for a while and got engaged, my then fiance convinced me to go to his dentist. I was blown away at how friendly everyone was and what a great atmosphere the office had. Now we have two kids and we all go to Thanksgiving Point Dental and my kids don't mind going to the dentist either! I would recommend Thanksgiving Point Dental to everyone! ~ Julia P

I cannot say enough good about Thanksgiving Point Dental! We started going to this office to fix some dental work done at another office. Dr. Losee is wonderful - a caring, competent and honest dentist. He is incredible! We actually enjoy coming to the dentist, which is saying a lot. The staff, especially Bev, are amazing! They make an effort to make sure you feel comfortable, cared about and remembered when you come in. Dr. Losee even calls you personally after a procedure. I have been a dentist for 44 years and loved being in the Doctor's chair. Well, it is very different being a patient in the hot seat. I recently had my teeth crowned to repair the wear, chipping, and discoloration. Dr Valgardson did the work and was so patient and gentle. He would always stop to see how I was doing and his work is near perfection. Pat was so helpful getting me in the right spot to work around my mission. Brielle assisted and kept me comfortable with a warm blanket, pillow, and great suction techniques. I have had my teeth cleaned by the gentle team of Kari, Jackie, Bailey, and Natalie. I have been going to Dr. Losee for over 10 years now and I have always been completely satisfied. Bev always greets me warmly and makes me feel so comfortable. The staff are all friendly and professional. Dr. Losee is kind and friendly and has taken exceptional care of my many dental needs. I have had crowns replaced, several root canals, and invisalign and have never had a single problem. When I had a very difficult root canal, Dr. Losee called me at home to be sure I was doing ok, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Thanksgiving Point for your whole family. Dr. Losee always makes me feel comfortable when I’m in his office. Whether it’s an implant or a cleaning, he’s very reassuring and supportive. His staff is so friendly. They treat everyone with the same kindness and respect that Dr. Losee shows. They all go the extra distance to make sure I’m comfortable (love the warm blankets on cold days) and check back with me often during procedure to see how I’m feeling. His work stands for itself. My implant went in without a hitch, and his follow-up was great. Other specialists always compliment me on how nice dental work is. I am so glad I found Dr. Losee! Dr. Valgardson and team are great! Their dental office in Lehi, Utah is really close to my office. I'm glad I chose Thanksgiving Point Dental as my dentist. I recommend them to anyone in the area. I live about 15 miles from Lehi, but I don't want to change to a closer dental office cause they've treated me so well. The staff is warm and friendly. The atmosphere is great. Beautiful smiles. On top of all that, I get to watch a movie if I want as I'm getting my teeth worked on. They've taken care of a few cavities and added two crowns. I’ve been going here for 6-7 years. One of the best dental practices I’ve been to. They do great work. Very friendly, great staff, awesome dentists (Dr Valgardsen has done almost all of my checkups, fillings and a crown for me). Dr V has from time to time after bigger procedures even called personally to ask how things are feeling - not sure if they still do that, but it was something that I recall thinking, “Wow, that’s not your typical care. That must take a ton of extra time to go to that level.” They do take the time to get it right, even on the rare occasion that I’ve needed to go back and have a minor adjustment to some little nit-picky thing that bugs me. ~ Jeff C

Friendly staff (particularly the dentist and hygienist — whose name escape me now 😝); a fun, antique design that matches the Thanksgiving style; just as high quality service as I've found anywhere (which is to say that I've always been plenty satisfied with my care); and this is the first dentist office I've ever known to offer TV to its patients while they have their dental work done 😂 (they have it up in place of one of the ceiling tiles for you to see while you're laud back — though I much prefer having personal interactions with the staff, so the display simply went through a slideshow of scenic, northern country landscapes). I had gone to Dr Losee when I found out one early morning that I could no longer chew without experiencing searing pain. The staff was the friendliest I’d had ever experienced, which was immensely appreciated as I have a bit of anxiety getting work done at the dentist. They got me in as soon as they possibly could, and the procedure was painless. They made sure I was taken care of and the assistants even held my hand while it was being done! Dr Losee even called me that night to see how I was doing. I have already recommended all my family go there, as I even went in for my cleaning a few weeks later and had the same great experience. Thanksgiving point dental is the best!! We keep them very busy with our family of 9 but we are also very impressed and wouldn't go anywhere else. I love the friendliness of the staff and the doctors. They always remember us and are happy to help with any questions or concerns. The office is always very clean and comfortable. The televisions in the ceiling are a big hit with my children. The simple but nice touch of offering a drink to us as we leave is something I look forward to at each visit. The kids love the prize box and special gift as they leave. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Thanksgiving Point dental and would highly recommend them to anyone. ~ Jannelle W
